If you are interested in history and the arts and you are also fond of good food, wine and company, then this is the holiday for you.

We provide holidays for people who like to relax for a week or two while, at the same time, being presented with something a little more stimulating than developing a suntan, and so we prepare a holiday specifically for you alone or you and your friends.

We will meet you on your arrival at Palermo and bring you to Selinunte in a private car or minibus (according to the number of people coming with you). On your arrival at Villa Mimosa Jackie will be there to greet you and help you to settle in; after which you will be ready to join us for aperitifs before the meal prepared by Margaret. There is always a selection of good Sicilian wines to enjoy with your meals. Dinner at Villa Mimosa is usually served at about 9pm every other night. On the other evenings we dine out in restaurants, either in Selinunte, Castelvetrano or Mazara del Vallo.

Each morning, Andrew will join you to take you to the various places of interest or to the beach of Selinunte. Lunches, in most cases, are taken in restaurants or bars, selected for the quality of their cuisine and, wherever possible, within the immediate vicinity of the venues chosen for the day.

Sicily is a wonderful country to explore with a fascinating history that has left a rich cultural heritage for you to admire; as Goethe enthusiastically wrote - To have seen Italy without having seen Sicily is not to have seen Italy at all, for Sicily is the clue to everything.
